This role is a strong fit for someone with GIS expertise who wants to apply it to utility and infrastructure operations. It promises complex, impactful work—but with the challenge of managing data integration across multiple technical systems.
I’d ask if they’re on Esri Utility Network yet and how they reconcile AMI last-gasp events with OMS outages. In my last project, 8% of meters were misassigned to the wrong transformer, and fixing the meter-to-transformer mapping (with a single data owner and nightly validation) cut false outages by half.
I’d bite if they’re funding UN↔OMS/AMI cleanup and real data governance.
