GIS in Crop Management Careers

I’m curious about how GIS is changing the landscape of crop management jobs. I recently helped implement a precision agriculture system on my family’s farm that uses satellite imagery to optimize irrigation schedules, and it really improved our yield. Are there any GIS specialists here who have transitioned into agriculture roles or have insights on job opportunities in this niche?

It’s amazing how satellite imagery can enhance crop yields! I’ve used GIS for soil moisture mapping, which really helped identify irrigation needs. Have you tried integrating that too? :seedling:.
