I’m building a training plan for a 40-person utilities team on mixed iOS/Android devices and need the most reliable offline edit/sync to ArcGIS Enterprise. Field Maps gives us geofences and location sharing; QField’s form logic feels faster — what are you seeing in week-to-week deployments, especially with 10.9.1 and patchy LTE?
We’ve had fewer failed syncs on 10.9.1 with mixed iOS/Android by using Field Maps “preplanned offline areas” plus sideloaded MMPK basemaps, so the daily sync is just edits, not tiles — big win with patchy LTE and a 40-person crew. QField felt snappier in forms, but the Enterprise sync path was fussier for us. @OP are you already prepacking areas on the server or letting crews make on‑demand areas?
